We've had a brilliant time celebrating World Book Day. To start the day we joined 100s of schools from across the country to take part in the 'World Book Day Footy and Booky Quiz'. There were 20 football and book related questions to answer. We saw some famous faces from the Premier League, EFL and even a couple of Lionesses. It was fun, interactive and we really enjoyed it. This afternoon, we went to the hall and read some autobiographies that school staff had written. They were anonymous so we had to work out who had written each one from the facts they gave us. We all guessed Mrs Taylor correctly! We came back to class, wrote our own and tried to work out who each one belonged to.
Everyone looked fabulous in their costumes and book inspired clothes. What a great day.
